Spitfire’s Katlego Baaitse gives the winning answer to KFC ‘s Family Feud
Hey you! Yeah, you reading this! What happens when the legendary international star and original King of Comedy, Steve Harvey, breaks the fourth wall to call you out? Well if you’re Spitfire, you provide the perfect answer for Ogilvy and KFC: director Katlego Baaitse.
Katlego worked closely with the renowned comedian, casting a perfect, highly expressive performer to play against Steve Harvey’s larger than life presence. Spitfire and the team successfully managed the twin challenges of navigating the complexities of COVID and shooting with a seasoned international star in the limited available time, creating a comedic showdown between a loveable Jabu and an effortlessly funny Steve Harvey.
Five influencers. A one day shoot. One great idea. That’s right up JT’s street. Standard Bank’s 10% Millionaire campaign is aimed at helping young people become millionaires by guiding them to push for their first R100k before the age of 30. And JT’s aim was to share their stories in the most engaging, most entertaining way possible.
Interviewing young ground breaking influencers like designer Bobo Moko, content creator Chad Jones and super young DJ Arch Junior (and his dad), JT worked fast and worked clever to put together six inspirational commercials that speak beautifully to Standard Bank’s target market – the future.
Check them out here. And then contact Spitfire to find out how JT can give your work 100%. And more.
MTV underwent a brand refresh in 2021 and we were approached by MTV Base to create new idents for the channel. They wanted something that was fresh and highlighted different dance cultures across the African continent.
"The lock down has really brought out many mixed emotions.
The one that I can say for sure regarding our president is pride.
This may seem crazy but the reason I am posting this video today is because I feel that Covid and Cyril might be a bit like The Rugby World Cup.
It’s is a great unifier and shows the empathy that we have for each other as a country. And that makes me feel proud, the same way we all felt proud and celebrated in the streets together when we, against all odds. Won the RWC in 95, 2007 and 2019!
Thank you to Grid and FNB for entrusting us with this project that superseded all our expectations.
May we all be together celebrating in the streets again in the near future"

This was an event coverage for the Shimza’s One Man Show which is hosted annually. This was hosted at the Sun arena and had various artists on the lineup. We did a promo and a long version edit which has interviews with different artists that performed on the day.

When it comes to spreading the All Gold word, Hloni is the jam. Do you get a more iconic South African brand than All Gold? And All Gold is about so much more than just tomato sauce (even if it’s our all-time favourite!). So how to spread the word that All Gold jam is for more than just sandwiches?
