BALESENG
Head of Production
“You may use a thousand words for a single lie, but the truth has no twin"
Baleseng is the Head of Content at Spitfire Films, a company she’s been with for over five years. She joined the company as a Production Assistant back in 2014 after obtaining her film qualification from Big Fish School of Digital Filmmaking where she majored in Producing just a couple of years after qualifying as a journalist.
Her drive and passion for teamwork then took over and Bale soon navigated various other departments within the company, lending a hand to and assisting the marketing team while also working on set as a Casting Coordinator before graduating to Junior Casting Director, a position she grew to own.
Bale is also a passionate storyteller and loves documentaries having produced a few at Big Fish. She is also an avid photographer, a professional hobby she developed during her internship at Mzansi Magic for the Channel’s Loxion Bioscope series where she enjoyed working as a Camera Operator and Camera Assistant. She has judged Secondary school drama and beauty pageant competitions where she stressed the importance of being a strong, passionate independent professional woman. During her spare time, Bale cooks up a storm and invites her friends for a delicious meal over a great conversation and a cold glass of wine or bubbles to celebrate the gift of life.
